Capt. Jackson Aiden Clarke

Lt. Commander Jackson Aiden Clarke, CO and Captain of the USS Delaware

Captain Clarke was professionally trained as a physist, with numerous scientific awards to his name.  He has had several different billets in his career, the most recent was as the first officer of an Oberth Class research vessel, the USS Cochrane.  In this position, he fine tuned his command and leadership skills.  In addition, the USS Cochrane had a temporal incident, the details of which have since been deemed classified.  His record states that Clarke was instrumental in leading the ship out of the temporal rift, though he credits the passengers and crew for the final, safe return of the ship.

During the war with the Dominion, his wife, Lt. Sharon Duncan-Clarke, was killed when her ship was destroyed during one of the many battles of the 7th Fleet.  Clarke distinguished himself and the Delaware in combat during the war.  He found the Delaware to be fast and agile with superior sensor systems.  He earned military honors for flying in, during combat, to collect escape pods before following orders to flee battle.

He has been the captain of the Delware since partway through the War with the Dominion, and is excited about the opportunities to explore the Gamma Quadrant and prove that the Nova class is a sound and useful design.
