Nicas is lean and of moderate height with black hair, green eyes, olive skin, and the distinctive Romulan v-shaped forehead ridges and pointed ears.  He appears in his mid-20's.  If examined closely it appears that his right arm is a bit more muscular than his left due to his metalworking hobby.  He keeps clean shaven and his hair the Star Navy standard.  Despite his hobby he has no visible scars and a personal dermal regenerator after the medical officer on his first posting tired of fixing him up.
