Name: Tasorae Byli'Mos

Physique: Tasorae is a womanly woman. She is curvaceous, yet slender. She has a slight athletic build to her, but looks are deceiving as she is not very athletic. She plays a few games on the holodeck for fun, but nothing for sheer sport. Her face is heart shaped, marked with full lips, near laughing eyes and a slender nose. Her skin is slightly darkened, with an olive-like complection.

Personality: Tasorae has the one quality in a doctor many people would want to find. Compassion for all living creatures, though it can get her into trouble. She can be quiet and reserved and is more or less restricted. She has a sense of duty towards "right" and will do anything necessary to aid her patients.

Background: Tasorae was born on a space station deep in the Alpha quadrant, near the Romulan border. Her parents were merely visitors who happened to get stranded for the time being after a computer malfunction aboard their own vessel. Once their ship was repaired, the new infant and her parents set off on exploration. The two were scientists on a 10 year mission to examine the sedimentation and development of life on the planet Nexar 3. The mission was doomed to failure, it was just a wonder of when.

The time came in its 6th year, the team was attacked while doing a routine survey of the planet surface, by a race of people they hadn't even known existed. Near half of the team was killed, and among the dead were Tasorae's parents. Their wounds had not been severe, but not expecting an attack, the ship had minimal aid they could apply. Both of her parents died due to complications of minor wounds they had received. It was a slow death, and one that would spark the love of medicine that Tasorae eventually formed.

As an orphaned child, she was soon (and by soon we mean two years as that was how long it took the vessel to get to the nearest star station) left to the hands of whoever would take her. In the end she was placed into the care of the station who took care of her studies and care. When she was finally old enough to apply, she entered into Star Fleet academy with an emphasis in medicine. She passed with honours and was awarded a position on a new ship called the USS Tarrace. Because of her age, she was assigned only an Asst. Physician spot, but during her time their she advanced her skills and learned much at the hands of her new 'teacher'.

Now, she has been assigned her very own spot as Director of Science and Research on this station.
