A well-built man of average height in his late twenties, Adelbert has gray eyes and closely cropped dark hair. In spite of his youth, a few silvery strands can already be seen when the light is right. His face is strong, not unhandsome in a rugged weather-beaten way but he seldom smiles. The armour he wears is piecemeal, pitted with spots of rust and the straps are frayed and worn. He wears a heavy cloak concealing a good sword. The shield bears no mark.
