Brandi Henderson was living a boring life until the dreams.  She dreamt of leading huge numbers of friends to a tropical paradise.   She was languishing in her job at Denny's, until he overheard a late-night regular, an odd, disheveled, but obviously brilliant man, talking to a dumpy guy in coveralls, talking a little too loudly about plans to make the world a better place though using "special people" .   She saw that the new guy seemed, well, special.  She could see so much about him, as if looking at his face was like watching a movie of his life.   Overcome with fascination, she approached the normally anti-social, eccentric regular and told him what she'd seen.
The older man smiled at her like a proud father.  Within the hour, she had a new job.
