Slightly bookwormish, the excitable Joanne is still a very gregarious person.   She's 5'2" with long light brown hair and a collection of "natural jewelry", made from amber, turquoise and other materials, and usually purchased from Native craftsfolk.

She's a biology major, with a minor in chemistry at Centropolis university, where she shares a dorm room with her roommate, Helen Ives.
