Klaus Schultz

Klaus is of slight build, roughly 150 lbs and 5'9" tall, what little muscle he has is concealed by his robes and he gives the haggard impression of a wanderer who doesn't always have food for the day. His features are sleek and he looks like he's barely into his twenties. His head is shaven, with lots of cuts, probably because he does it himself with his dagger.

He has a set of ugly scars across his left cheek, they look like claw marks, there are ive of them so presumably that's also the number of digits of the assailant. His eyes are blue and striking, his gaze is penetrating and judgemental, one can almost feel him examining everyone he looks at, searching for fault. While he isn't built like a soldier and doesn't seem very skilled in combat, he has the stoic, almost cold, look of someone who's already seen war firsthand.

Dressed in torn and tattered robes, one could have mistaken him for a flagellant if he hadn't had such a calm demanor. Klaus has few belongings and carries what little he has in a worn backpack. His weapons are old but well-cared for, he has a dagger and a warhammer in his belt and a shield is slung across his back. He carries a small silver amulet depicting the legendary hammer Ghal Maraz around his neck, which makes it clear that he is a devout follower of Sigmar. He is also carrying a small personal altar attached to his belt, bought from the Strigany merchant near Magurele.

Since the battle at the graveyard he's been carrying a mail shirt and a leather jack that formerly belonged to a brettonian knight, Roland. He is also wearing a steel breastplate and a helmet. Another grisly addition to his belongings is the human skull dangling from his belt, attached to some chains. All flesh has long since rotted away and it is reinforced with iron plates in several places.

Lots of phrases are scribbled on it, well-educated observers may recognize them as holy litanies of Sigmar, 'selfless martyrdom and holy purging of the unclean' seem to be the general theme, though they are all in classical.

Since the battle in Magurele he's also been carrying the runehammer of Ulbaz, the hammer is fastened by a long chain to a manacle at his right wrist, effectively shackling him to his weapon. A small amulet made of the fangs of the vampire lord of magurele dangles from the base of the shaft, a trophy of the battles past.
