Thorolf is a big and muscular man, standing about 6'3 tall and weighs about 180-190 lbs. He has long ash blond hair and a big beard that makes it difficult to estimate his age. The right side of Thorolf's face, or more precisely the part that is not hidden under the beard, is covered by tribal tattoos that extend to his right shoulder and down to the right half of his upper body. Several scars are clearly visible on his upper body and arms, showing that Thorolf is not new to war. His eyes are green and they seem to conceal much pain and horror, of which he rarely talks about.

Thorolf's Norscan roots are clearly visible. In addition to his blond hair and tribal tattoos his clothes are mostly made of worn furs and his accent gives him away as soon as he opens his mouth. He has a strong voice but he's much more quiet than a typical norsemen, unless he is telling old warstories or legends.

Thorolf is an intimidating sight, a scarred warrior wearing a load of armor and weapons. A mail shirt and brestplate on the top of his leather jacket offers him protection and makes him look a little less like a barbarian form the north. A helmet covers his head and sturdy wolf pelt hangs on his shoulders. Used battle axe hangs form his belt and a sturdy knife is placed on the other side. A shield is usually strapped on his backback when not in use.
