Manfred is 5'8" tall and quite solidly built (150lbs).  His hair and eyes are a nondescript shade of brown and he himself is quite unremarkable, apart from a scar along his left cheekbone which he is prone to rub with his left knuckle when he is thinking.

He wears a long ragged cloak which he keeps wrapped around him for warmth and carries a short, deadly looking cudgel and an old-fashioned long sword.  Across his chest is a harness with 4 silver throwing knives, and a silver dagger hangs in a sheath at the back of his neck..
