Home District: Sunrise District

Reynald is a child of Sasserine, possessing an open mind, yet ever-intolerant to tyranny and oppression.  Growing up in the streets of the Shadowshore District, Reynald sought a way out, a way to beat the gangs and thieving-lifestyle that seemed to swallow so many lives.  The first opportunity he got to leave the District, he took it, securing employment upon a merchant ship operating in Sunrise District.
Sailing for Thunder River Lumber, Reynald traveled far and wide; but his heart never left Sasserine.   During his time aboard the Taskerhill family’s merchant ship, the Emerald Dolphin, the young man was exposed to many different cultures, and, being open minded, has taken the first steps on the path of the intrepid adventurer.
He is known throughout many of the taverns in Sunrise District an amazing singer and skilled lute player.  Although he doesn’t sail with the crew of the Emerald Dolphin anymore, he maintains close ties with the Taskerhill family and Thunder River Lumber.

Reynald is of average height, but his frame is lean and slender.  He has long dark hair and commonly sports a short goatee.  Although he is rarely seen in public without his rapier, he is never seen without his old lute.  He wears stylized clothing, much of which he has made alterations to himself, accenting his own sense of fashion.
He possesses an easy sense of humor, and is generous to a fault.  When not entertaining he can be described as quiet; however has absolutely no tolerance for despotism.  By way of modern comparison, his music is comparable to country, folk, and classical rock and roll.
