Garret Nachtbrise is the last remaining member of the Order of the Rose, an adventuring militant group dedicated to protecting the weak and persecuting the wicked.  Although being half-elven, Garret is old—nearing his 135th birthday—however he has aged extremely well.  The old cleric's demeanor is clam and insightful, and he isn't quick to anger.
He prefers to fight with his bastard sword, but is also skilled with his crossbow.  He favors loose clothing under his ancient breastplate mail; and always seems to conveniently have whatever items his companions need.
