Vagrenk is not pleasant to behold. He seems to be an amalgamation of a variety of different shapes and forms, not exactly blending perfectly.  One hand is large and clawed, the other is of normal size, but exceptionally hairy.  His eyes are of different sizes, so are his ears.  He has a lopsided, shuffling walk because one of his legs- even the hip- is disproportionate to the other. Despite his body size and odd physical deformities he somehow seems to be quite able.

Inside this ugly man is a kind heart and a moral dedication only matched by some faithful clergy. He takes his duties seriously and would make a good dwarf were his body type different. Somehow Vagrenk packs an above average intellect that he often shows through wry humor. When it comes to combat, Vagrenk moves surprisingly quick for his size and hits with the strength of an ogre. Those on the wrong side of his great axe learn to quickly respect him or end up dead.
