Tann is a very ugly dwarf. Lanky blonde hair and grey-blue eyes are his most noticeable features.
His face is weathered and beaten as if someone had taken to punching his face on a regular basis.
He is gruff, but friendly enough to non elves. He is very paranoid and is know to take on as many measures to ensure the survival of him and his property. He is a loyal friend and stubborn, but not above making a tactical retreat if the odds are against him. A stab to the back is his way of fighting.

A crafty individual he is good at ambush style of attacks and scouting. He is used to fighting in the pitch black and can use a rudimentary form of echolocation. He isn't particulate smart but he isn't stupid either and is a cheapskate.
