Casimir Hoch

Background:
Casimir Hoch was born in Hergig, Hochland under the sign of the Dancer. He's the younger of two brothers, but also has two sisters - one older and one younger. His father is a sergeant in the city's garrison and the Hoch family has had a long martial history - if not a glorious one, then at least loyal. Having an officer father, money was never tight, but it wasn't plentiful either. The children always had to help out at home with strict rules and chores. Eventually, as the boys grew older, they were taught skills at arms. But while Casimir had grown accustomed to life in Hergig, he had also grown tired of his strict family life. At the age of nearly fifteen he left home in hopes of seeing the Empire. The roads running through Hochland was an excellent starting point, but as times were uneasy, and Casimir soon learned that soldiers and lawmen of all kinds were needed. Having travelled for a while, he held a certain respect and awe for the Roadwardens and decided to become one. And he did. Filled with youthful pride he undertook training under a group of Roadwardens and eventually became one himself. Although he had an attitude more akin to a gunslinging vigilante than an officer of the law, his sense of pride justice made him a capable Warden nonetheless. He was not about to see his duties unfulfilled. As a year or two passed by, Hoch would've long since abandoned his original patrol area and returned to traveling around the land, lending his gun to the needy or threatened, keeping roads and areas safe wherever he went. At the age of nineteen he finally returned to his home, albeit briefly. He only had a few weeks in Hergig before his duties called once more. Rounding twenty, he's still on the road.

Description:
Casimir stands around 5'9" tall. He is not overtly muscular, weighing about 150 pounds, but is still fairly fit. He has ash blond hair with some length. His watchful eyes are green, and his skin is slightly tanned from traveling. Hoch usually has a concerned and vigilant expression, even when relaxed, but his facial features in themselves are rather smooth. It can go several days between stops, so he often has a few days worth of facial hair, but never grows a full beard. The young Roadwarden is armed with his pistol and a sword, and is lightly armored. He usually wears a long, high-collared leather coat and a heavy leather tricorne when traveling - and often when not, as well. Casimir rides a white horse called Jasmine.

Personality:
Casimir is what you can call a flavorful person. Although he takes on his work with a sense of pride and honor, it is imminent that he despite that sees himself as a free soul with a purpose. But whether you call him a gunslinger, vigilante or Roadwarden, you can be sure that he will protect those in need wherever he travels. Despite that the young man can be both brash and cocky, full of attitude and no stranger to being opportunistic. Casimir Hoch knows that if he lives by the gun, he might be dead tomorrow, and always tries to improve his odds. Luckily, as a result, he prides himself with friendships and allies and can be quite the charmer if he wants to.
