Wilhelm Heinhardt is a stocky 17 year old human with brown hair and a face marked by the Pox he managed to survive. A quiet but seemingly happy chap, Wilhelm has recently left home to get out and about and found that his combination of outdoor experience and enjoyment of time on horseback meant that merchants would employ him to guide and guard them on journeys. So far in his short career he has not had much in the way of combat experience, most of the work seems to be guiding rather than guarding.

Still young in the world, Wilhelm relies on himself and expects people to generally do the same, but experience with merchants has taught him that not everyone is capable of looking after themselves, or other people. Nor are people exactly always honest. His age and his life so far mean that he does not feel tied to much and is generally willing to go in any new direction. It has made it that much easier to find jobs when he is willing to go anywhere, for any particular reason. As long as there is pay, something to eat and drink and a new road later, he doesn't really mind.
