Being born a half dragon is one of the greatest blessings one could imagine. Being born of a Dragon and Elf provided an even greater boon. Although not formally acknowledge by his Silver Dragon father due to his undeveloped draconic abilites, Sylvax was raised on Aelding in a small Elven community near a protected sanctuary that they watched over. As he displayed aptitude at military strategy and martial talents, Sylvax's distant father offered to send his son to Handor, to be trained by some of the greatest military teachers in the Empire.

Graduating with honors, it was not long before Sylvax became a Captain in the Imperial Army, eventually earning the right to request specialized missions for the greater good of the people of the Dragonstar Empire.

Although he should have been born a full half-dragon, Sylvax was born with only a touch of his fathers blood. Despite exhaustive tests to determine what happened, Sylvax was confirmed to be his fathers' son. Sylvax shares a strong resemblance to his Elven heritage, with long ears, angular features, and a wry, dexterous build. This is contrasted with the silvery, minute scales across his body, the smoothing of his facial features to more resemble that of his father, the frills enhancing his hears, and his sharp clawed nails on his hands proving his heritage.
