Caitlyn Bell

Caitlyn Bell is one of the proprietors of Bell & Booke, a used-and-rare bookstore that, in some form or another, dates back to 1806. She tends to handle much of the front-end business of the store (dealing with customers & such), leaving much of the acquisitions and appraisals to her partner. Caitlyn only stepped into the position at the store full-time a few years ago, shortly after her grandmother died. (Gabriel Booke and Victoria Bell had been working together at least since the Vietnam War, maybe longer.)

To those who pay attention to such things, she's known as a practitioner of the Old Faith, although she keeps displays of it subtle -- a pentacle tucked under the neckline of her dress, a candle burning in the window on the greater holidays, or something similarly low-key and easily overlooked.

Once or twice a month, she'll spend an evening at a local coffee house playing the piano and singing, typically sticking to classic jazz and standards. She's close friends with the remnants of the Mercer family, and has occasionally borrowed some of the late Johnny's notebooks to re-create the "intended" versions (as opposed to the most popular versions) of some of his songs.
