At first glance she seems like an older teenage girl, but this early twenty-something woman is always about more than what meets the eyes.  Long dirty blonde hair, usually tied up, is silky and highlighted framing a heart-shaped face.  Big almond shaped hazel eyes scan her surroundings with an analytical and methodical purpose.  A petite nose and full rouge lips complete her lovely angelic face sometimes with only a light application of make-up or most often none at all.  Her petite frame is the foundation of a firm, physically fit body with feminine curves all in good proportion, likely a result of good genetics and definitely hard work.

When Brandy is not wearing her military uniform or her flight helmet, she very consistently wears a stetson hat that she got from her father that was an heirloom stemming from a family member long ago that was in the Cavalry in the U.S. Civil War.

[Disposition]
Her father did always want a son, and he tended to push her harder because of that fact.  Being pushed hard has made her tend to be somewhat of a risk-taker landing her in some hot plasma and tight situations.  She is quite social-able, and is often gregarious and charming depending on the situation.  It's often because of her natural physical beauty and her wild, charming personality that people, both men and women alike, often want to talk to her.  Brandy is not afraid to use her sensuality and good looks to get what she wants to a limit.

[Background]
Brandy Di Avantos, born of a doomed union between the wife of a U.S. Air Force pilot and that pilot's commanding officer in Colorado Springs, CO, USA.  Her mother Tiffany Di Avantos, and her biological father LTC Ryan Gunther hated each other when they first met at Tiff's husband's, Tony Di Avantos', new assignment with experimental aircraft.  Really they were just trying to suppress their instant attraction for each other, the fine line between love and hate blossomed into a passionate, but brief relationship, especially when Tony was away, that gave birth to Brandy.   The affair, of course, destroyed Tony and Tiff's marriage leaving Brandy stuck in the middle.  Brandy flip-flopped between her mother and her biological father, Ryan, as Tony wanted nothing to do with her.  She would ultimately end up with her biological father, because her mother turned to drugs and prostitution in Austin, TX, USA.  She grew up from age 6 barely knowing her mother and hating her father for it.  As a result Brandy is sometimes not the best when it comes to personal relationships.

Despite her displeasure with her father she followed in his footsteps and became an aviator enlisting in the UEDF at age 17 much to her father's dismay.  She scored well on the aptitude battery and showed some potential for leadership that landed her an endorsement for Officer's Candidate School.  However, without college she had to go to a year of military preparatory school, before going to the actual OCS.  She did well enough through preparatory school and OCS in the classroom, and got by on a lot of outward, but superficial charm.  She received her commission without much fanfare, graduating near the middle of her class, and went on to flight school.  Fresh with newly pinned wings, she had been assigned to the ARMD-07 Ranger and it's fateful mission at the inception of the carrier group.  As a member of Echo Squadron she drilled and was involved in several engagements, but again nothing spectacular, more middle of the pack again.  She was not truly a spotlighter anyway, but she's at least garnered experience and the respect of her fellow squadron-mates.
