Background

Gregory Hashimash was the only son to the great sage Warren Harshimash adviser to King Leon, the Brave. Like his father he was a Priest of the Lux. He wanted nothing more then to good for the people, the same way his father had. Gregory saw the Lux as a force for good. He believed that it could save and spare life.

His father Warren wanted his son to learn magic as well. He sent Gregory to the best Magical School on the continent. It was located in the Ddyfrha's southern most city. He studied magic feverishly. Gregory often skipped meals because of his attention to his study ultimately loosing weight and becoming ill. His favorite instructor came to see him in the infirmary.

"You won't be much good to the world if you're dead. Learn to take care of yourself, then you will be able to care for others."

The words were not particularly prophetic, but at the time they meant the world to him. From that day on he took care of himself. His apatite was healthy and he began running a mile everyday. At first it nearly killed him. But soon he was running eight miles every morning. One day he told his instructor that he was leaving the academy, he had come to realize that there was only so much he could learn from books.
