Race: It's Complicated
Appearance: Arden is of average/short-average height, around 5'4"/5'5", with a willowy build. Her hair is a dark shade of purple pretending to be black; in the sunlight, highlights reminiscent of an oil slick on rain water--blue, turquoise, sea green, lighter purple, and even a few strands of magenta--become visible. Her eyes are a dark shade of blue, and she has a relatively pale pallor with light freckles across her cheeks and shoulders. Her ears, when visible, are just pointed enough to mark her as not fully human, though it is unclear if her parentage is elven or something else entirely.



Personality: Arden's movements, even when hasty or nervous (as they frequently are), manage to be graceful. She often presents as shy and reserved, even skittish--and equally often, as firm and unyielding.  She does not seem to notice how inherently mercurial her personality is, but overall she if a very friendly person.

Arden is also very much an internet pirate.  If you need music, movies, books, Photoshop brush packages, literally anything you can find online, she is your girl.
Gift: Matter Manipulation.

Arden can rearrange and reshape matter, as well as transition it between phases. Currently, she can only affect things she is touching, though she can channel her power through any one material at a time--she can touch a steel surface and make a hole/spike/insert painmaker here appear any distance away from her point of contact, so long as there is a steel path between the two.


The difficulty of Arden's shaping scales with the size and complexity of the change. Changing a wooden beam into a wooden sword is quite simple, but melting through a vault door would be much harder. Similarly, she could not create anything she did not sufficiently understand, such as an engine - she could turn an engine into a block of steel, but she could not then restore it.

Things Arden changes tend to ignore the laws of physics in regards to pressure and temperature so long as she focuses on them - if she causes a metal to melt it will not become hotter because she does so, and it will remain liquid until she ceases focusing on it, whereupon it will become solid again immediately.
History: Arden has a... complicated past. She doesn't even know the half of it. Her history will be updated as it is revealed in game.
