Thomas is a hulking draconic figure; a few inches short of seven feet tall and a solid three hundred fifty pounds, all muscle. Instead of skin, his body is covered in scales, ranging in color from a pale, almost skin colored chest and interior to a near-burgundy on his back, arms and head; the scales are roughest on his back, slimming and shrinking to soft and almost skin-like on his front.

His face is long and snouted; not as severe as a dragon's but certainly not human. It sports plates moreso than scales, but despite the difference he is still capable of expression (though he must be careful with grinning). His main expressive trait is his ruff, which sprouts behind his earholes and flares back where his hair would normally be. It is delicate and active, and tells his emotions much like a dog's ears.

He has a long tail, over five feet long and just as muscular as the rest of him. Although not prehensile, it is very flexible, and sports an odd crook in its line near its end.
