Appearance: Raina is small and dark, named after L'Arianna, a lost opera by composer Claudio Monteverdi, and barely tops five foot. Which is unusual for anyone in her business, but it does lend her an air of helpless female, especially with the perfectly balanced curves she was blessed with. Thick black hair in a jumble of waves falls to her waist, eyes an intense blue that didn't fit with her European heritage. With an Italian mother, her skin is on the lighter side of olive, tanned without a line thanks to the privacy of the family home. Usually she dresses in no-nonsense wear, jeans and bright shirts to make her seem less serious, somber. Those coming to the plantation often comment on her delicacy, features fine boned and a startling contrast to the strength that only a choice few actually have seen in person. Looking more like a surfer girl at times, she still cleans up and resembles her mother, high cheekbones and the blue eyes of the beast always peeking out from below tousled bangs, right now,professionally lightened to a highlighted chestnut, Raina is the epitome of her upbringing and her mother's

Personality: Raina was raised in the streak, by the Chang herself so her demeanor is one of observation, with eyes that miss very little, and she is practical to an extreme. She is also very hard to get to know, often making the other person talk about themselves first, thanks to her mother's talents at leading their people. These traits aren't as strong within the streak, but she still requires a bit of work to get to know, but once you get past the walls, she is sweet and loving, and protective of those who make it in that close. Now she doesn't come off as anti-social, she can be bright and engaging, but if you look, her eyes are cool and assessing. Please remember she has been raised as almost a princess, and other tigers usually defer to her because of her mother, so her response to insubordination is immediate, and often expects to have her own way just because. Streak notes==She is at a power level of 'little queen', which makes her along the lines of a Head of Clan, but not in the position of Chang on the big island of Hawaii. Her continual calls for a mate from the beast have prompted her mother to arrange a marriage and set up a home base, the island plantation on Oahu that has been in Raina's father's family for a century. There is a good amount of Tigers there and the smaller numbers will be a good test of her daughter's ability to lead. While she isn't a man, she is ruthless as hell when it comes to dealing with threats to her streak who see her as a fair leader, strong...acting as friend, mother, father, sibling and even confessor if needed.

History: Arianna was born on the island, on the plantation that she now owns thanks to her mother's generosity and pure irritation with the slender queen's constant calls for a mate. Her father, black tiger to her mother's white doted on his daughter as did the rest of the streak. She could do no wrong and wanted for nothing during her childhood, a few playmates her own age, but more that often she spent time with the older tigers, and with her mother despite the woman's attempts to remove the child during streak business that had a serious overtone.

So Arianna grew up with a serious bent, spoiled but serious. An only child, she had no competition and knew her place well before anyone else seemed to grasp it. Imperious, demanding even before her first change, the sense of the tiger that paced it's prison those long years seemed to simmer with barely controlled energy. Teodora suspected that her daughter would grow to be a rival, but never so early or with such intensity. In part she blamed herself so when Arianna began to call the strongest alphas of the streak, soon both she and John were tearing their hair out trying to deal with her because if she had been headstrong as a child, she was twice as bad in adulthood and none met her exacting standards.

So it was college though she never did decide what, taking classes that interested her and the Chaminade University loved the endowments the Kerr family made. But she never finished the degree, bouncing from Biology to International business to Marketing. Nothing concrete but enough to give her a keep sense of how to run things. With her father's help and the overseer's there on the farm, Arianna kept her head above water and now has even opened to official tours from local travel agents, a small farmers market that caters to the gourmet and is currently working on a line of internet goodies.

The only thorn in her side, her mother and her matrimonial bent. The candidates for husband came and went and finally Arianna just told her mother to pick one and sent him down. She is sure he will go like the rest......
