Mela Isara is unmistakably two things. With his shaven head and simple hempen robes tied with a linen belt dyed a deep blue, the first is a monk of the Immaculate Order. The second is that he is a Dragon-Blooded of superior breed.  From his pale skin tinged with blue to the way his clothing always billows gracefully with the slightest surrounding breeze, Isara has the unmistakable mark of one blessed by the Elemental Dragon of Air.

Many of the things that Mela Isara says can be interpreted in multiple ways. This is intentional on his part and allows the listener to 'salt to taste' the things that he says. Finding the balance between looking at things in the most favorable light and letting one's personal biases blind oneself is a lesson that he never stops teaching those around him.

Isara is quick to offer guidance or advice although sometimes it can be overly critical. This is probably has some influence on the fact that he is always lacking proper friends or support in Nexus.
