Valanthe doesn't seem to have the same care and attention for her appearance that others might.  Her white hair is tangled and full of leaves and twigs, never seeming to have seen a comb.  Her clothes are mostly practical and designed for ease of movement.  A lot of the time she wears simple cloth, but if things grow more dangerous she usually dresses in sturdy leather armour.  When she moves it's with a graceful confidence, her capable build leaving her with settled steps.  Despite her messy appearance, the presence she projects is usually relaxed and friendly.  She almost always carries a sturdy quarterstaff with her.
