Physical Description: A cross between beauty and brawn, Niki is a tomboy Latin firecracker. Her family’s roots grow from Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic. While she has fully submerged herself in her Latin heritage and spent time with relatives in both places, forced as it may have been, Niki was actually born in California. Niki’s coffee colored eyes and deep walnut tinted hair were a gift from her Mother. She is not your typical beauty. Her appearance has been described as more of a predatory creature than a heavenly fey. Of course this is mostly due to the fact that the woman seldom smiles anymore and occasionally dresses contrary to her gender. By no means is Niki unattractive. She has a unique beauty that is fueled by an inner fire.

Genetics gave her the dark honey blushed skin that she boasts today. Smooth and warm, Niki has a beautiful complexion; the kind that many Hollywood starlets pay thousands of dollars to achieve. Unfortunately her soft flesh has been marred with the odd slice of pearly scar tissue. A sad result of a rough and careless youth. Perfume is not an alien concept to Niki but unless she has made an effort to don a dress and look pretty, an image which she can pull off and pull off well, Niki’s skin holds the smell of a fresh shower and talc. Her beauty routine is just as basic. After a quick shower, Niki will dry herself off, douse herself in fresh smelling talc, violently brush her hair and then pick whatever it was she wished to wear that day. Her wardrobe contains but is not limited to, jeans, cargo pants, tank tops of varying colors, sweaters and jackets. She has never been concerned for fashion. Her unmanicured nails rarely see a lick of polish but they are more often than not clean and rounded at their ends. She truly couldn’t care less what people thought was stylish or cool. Niki wears what she likes and she has always dressed more for function than for fashion. Despite her lack of trying she always manages to come out looking tough and together.

A line of dark eyeliner, a golden cross around her neck and a pair of boots later and her accessorizing is complete. Niki is capable of looking glamours and civilized but what is the point when you pull off urban bombshell so effortlessly? Niki only stands at 5’4 and her weight hovers around 120-125. She is actually a rather slim girl and were it not for muscle mass, she would weigh closer to 110. Niki is not a body builder and she would never take her fitness to that level. She has no desire. Being a girl who enjoys working up a natural sweat, whether it be on her own at the gym or with another, wherever, Niki has earned herself a subtle set of abs. She’s stronger than she looks.

Likes: Speed and the cars that take you there. Liquor, specifically Tequila. Thrill in any form. Cigarettes. Parties. The Muppets. Like-minded people. Bad boys.

Dislikes: Police, their relationship has never been a successful one. Coconut. Being screwed over. Clowns for the simple reason that when she was 12 a clown squeezed her breast at a friend’s Birthday party. He did this while delivering his catch phrase ‘Honka Honka!’. People who criticize her for smoking. Good girls.

Personality: Delicate is not a word you would use to describe Niki as a whole. She is a fiery Latin woman who cares very little what others think of her. She is often seen as cold and anti-social but she does little to dispute this image placed upon her shoulders. The woman has always been more comfortable in a close knit group of friends than around strangers. Along that vain, she has always been more comfortable around boys than girls. Shallow and vain women tend to get under her skin and if she needs to be cruel and curt to dig them out, she will be.

With an attitude that is often shown at inappropriate times, Niki finds it difficult to make friends but when she does, she is loyal for life. There has only even been one time when she betrayed someone’s trust and it has haunted her to this very day. Niki is a woman who puts up a very tough front. It takes the right person to be able to bring down the walls and get close to a woman who can be very sweet. She's not all bitch.

Niki likes to have fun, she always has. Her love for pleasure has often gotten her into trouble. Rebellious as a child, Niki found herself on the wrong side of the law and the young woman has quite a record in her past. Understandably, she can be rather cocky towards figures of Authority although she is learning to hold her tongue more as she gets older. Nicole Ayala would be what one might describe as a criminal but she has never been too fond of that label. She would like to say that everything she did, she did to survive or at the very least, in self defense but that wouldn’t be the truth. Niki has broken the law, more than once. With Parents that would screw any kid up, Niki frequently left her home to be around those she felt she had a stronger connection with. A regular at parties, Niki and her friends soon formed what could be described as a gang but that would be a harsh term for a group of troubled kids who simply liked to have fun.

Everything that she has done, everything that she has seen, it has helped to form who she is today. Niki is strong and self confident woman who is not above using words or fists to get what she needs and to protect those close to her. A slightly jealous woman, defensive might be a better word. Niki has been known to make it undoubtedly clear that the one she was with, was with her. PDA has never bothered her. She doesn’t possess a lot a class; she will never be awarded for her femininity or her delicate nature, at least not in public. Niki can be very sweet and affectionate but only when she feel safe enough to show what she sees as vulnerability Niki is sass, she is strong and she is utterly truthful to herself. Bio: We are all the fault of our Parents. For Niki, this could not be truer. Nicole’s childhood could be documented on film, tape and script but nobody would believe her. Her mother never really wanted the job and she showed this each and every day by being completely irresponsible and uncaring. It was as if the woman never even wanted to grow up herself. An utter flake when it came to responsibility, Niki’s Mother tried desperately to be the girl’s best friend and she tried even harder not to be her Mum. While begging to borrow clothes and insisting that Niki not call her Mom, the woman repeatedly cheated on her Husband and worst still, expected Niki to keep the secret.

Niki’s Father was a sweet man but bless him, completely clueless to his wife’s extra marital indiscretions. A stay at home Dad, Niki’s Father was never the role model she needed which is probably why she turned to stronger men. The only resentment that Niki holds towards her Father is that he was weak. She doesn’t blame him, not really. He lived in the world where his family was perfect, where his wife was faithful and where his Daughter was a good girl. Niki grew up under her own tutelage. She taught herself what she needed to know and the things she could never know on her own, a group of peers were more than happy to pass on what may have been twisted knowledge. It was a flawed system. Her Parents were busy but not with work. They were far too wrapped up in their own problems to ever notice that their only Daughter wasn’t coming home at night. There was no punishment. Her Mother never wanted to do it in fear that Niki might hate her and her Father deluded himself into thinking that she was just being a teen and the phase would pass.

While her family fell apart, piece by piece, Niki found solace in her friends and in a boy. Isn’t that always the way it goes? It was any other party, there was music and tequila. The lights were strung through the trees and while some kids danced, others huddled themselves in darker corners with selected partners. Niki, as normal, was dancing by herself, a cigarette hanging from her lips, a drink in her hand. Then he came in and he wasn’t like the others. He was the right amount of cocky and charm and he was the first one who saw straight through Niki’s Bull Shit. From that day on, they were inseparable and young as they were; they were very much in love. Sick to death of the twisted games being played at home, Niki spent her time with her teenage love. While her Mother’s lies were finally revealed and the scales were dropped from her Father’s eyes, Niki roamed the streets, finding trouble wherever she could.

As time passed, Niki grew. She was changing from a young socially awkward teen into a fiery young woman. Her family life wasn’t any better, if anything it had gotten worse. Sure, her Parents were for once, working together but just because they went to the Swingers parties as a couple, didn’t mean they stayed that way. Yes, Niki knew all about her Parents and their freaky sex habits. Maybe they thought it would save their marriage. With her Mothers wondering eye and other parts of her body, Niki’s Father seemed to think if he joined in with his Wife’s ‘fun’ at least they’d be cheating together. At 15, Niki was near breaking point and she was spending more and more time away from home. It became a regular occurrence for Niki and her friends to scout empty houses and break in. It was never about theft although the fridge was always free game. Niki never wanted to steal anything; it was all about the fantasy. To find the biggest room in the house and to curl up on a luxury bed in the arms of the boy she loved, to imagine that this life was theirs? That they were free.

Just because Niki seldom stole from these breaking and entering’s, didn’t mean she was a non playing participant in the other crimes. Niki stole, she picked the locks and she choose the cars to boost. When it came to the crime that changed her life, Niki was 16 and carrying a secret. There was nothing that she didn’t tell her boyfriend, expect this. They never meant it to go as far as it did. Niki, her boyfriend and their partner in crime were just looking for a place to stay. The house was supposed to be empty but Niki now has doubts whether her friend knew this or not. She would not put it past him to lie to her. He knew she would never break into a house that was occupied. They never wanted that kind of trouble.

Niki is very defensive of what happened that day. Nobody knows what happened like they do. They were there. She knows, if it hadn’t been for her boyfriend stepping in, things would have been a lot worse than they were. Their 'friend' more than likley would have done more than tie up and beat the husband and wife who were taken by surprise in their own home.

The sirens alerted the three that it was over. Separated, they were piled into police cars and taken to the station were for hours Niki was integrated, bullied and intimated. She had a record and this was a serious crime. She would never turn on the one she loved but at only 16, after a time, she began to believe the worst case scenario the Police were feeding her and she foolishly began to believe that the boy she loved was turning on her. It was Niki’s testimony that sent the love of her life away. She hasn’t seen him since. Guilty, remorseful and scared, Niki returned home but she never stayed long.

Finishing school, Niki left to follow what little passion she had. She had turned her gritty youth into a talent and with that talent, she wrote. At 27, Niki now lives on the road. Driving from place to place, she never stays long. Maybe she's running from something or perhaps she's looking for someone. If you ask her, it's unlikely you'll get an answer. She has the funds to buy a little place of her own. Nothing too fancy but some place nice. She is considering renting an apartment. If she has to share a space with a roommate, so be it. Maybe they'll be cool. Hell, maybe they'll be hot.

Niki earns her money through her work. She is a successful writer and has published a series of books that have developed quite a strong cult fan base. Her books have a realistic touch to them that many feel has never been shown before. Dark and confronting, Niki’s books are popular because she has talent, she has perspective and she has a unique story line that people are hooked on. Writing each book from hotel rooms or the backseat of her car, Niki sends them in via email and after publication and sales she receives her money. Her Publicists would prefer if she stayed closer to home but Niki has no desire. So long as she meets her deadlines, her people are happy enough.

She's done quite well for herself. Her past is in the past or so she would like to think. In many ways, Niki is still punishing herself for what she did. Nicole Ayala has been though a lot. Everything in her past seems to explain who she is today. Despite the fact that the past is in actual fact just that, the past, Niki knows all too well that it can and will rise up to haunt you once more though it’s her future that looks to be really exciting.

MISCELLANEOUS

Hobbies: Working out. Writing. Working over her car.

Strengths: Niki has many skills, not all of them acceptable in a morally abiding world. She can speak fluent Spanish. She is skilled with machinery and is often seen tinkering over her car.  She is a skilled fighter. While not professionally trained by any means, she has spent enough time wresting with boys to know how to take one down. Niki has very nimble fingers and she can break into practically anything with a lock. She can also cook and is surprisingly good with kids but it’s not something she brags about. God forbid she gets labeled as Mum.

Weaknesses: Much to her distress, Niki cannot hold her liquor, not that this well known fact has ever stopped her. Niki is stubborn, impatient and she doesn’t always think before she talks or acts. Trouble has a tendency to follow her or maybe she looks for it. It’s debatable. She’s never been one who could just sit and stay. All of these things could be considered weaknesses in character or maybe they are just what makes Niki, Niki.

Pet Peeves: Women who walk around in clearly uncomfortable shoes, just because they are fashionable. People who think the world owes them everything. Commercials that make a product out to be far more than it really is.
