Ariel



 Ariel has lived a great deal in her 39 years of life (not counting the few thousand years she spent in a tomb.  But the magic that kept her trapped there did not allow her body to age).  Although not a native of the Palladium world, she arrived in Killterran through a portal cast by a wizard.  She assumes he was on his way to visit Occubus or Luke but he died shortly after opening the portal so who knows.
    She was a street orphan in a large waterfront slum and survived by serving as a footpad for a young crime gang.  After repeated rapes and abuse before the age of 12 she poisoned most of the members and moved on.  Arriving in Waterdeep she was spotted by a well known, highly feared assasin who, she assumes, saw something hard in her and trained her off and on over the next 19 years.  She quickly became one of the most respected young assasins in Waterdeep and had little to fear due to her reputation.  However, her mentor disappeared and eventually she become a marked lady.  This led her to the portal mentioned earlier.
    Ariel quickly made some very interesting friends in Killterran, became a Traveler, and the rest is history.  She is quite polarizing in the sense that she has a soft heart with children, women, fairys, dragons, angels, and in general beings that are helpless.  However, she has no respect for authority and hates goblins, bullies, religion, merchants, mean monsters, most men, power seekers, adventurers she does not know, braggers, people who kill animals for sport, money, witches, undead, royalty, constables, city guards, people that live underground, drunks and substance abusers, slavers, guilds, etc, and feels no remorse about removing them from existence.
     Ariel is no longer technically an elf due to genetic manipulation.  She is linked to seven different rune items and considers them all friends in her head.  She deeply loves Amber and most of the travelers as well and can be counted on to stand by them in the face of anything.  Outside of something bad happening to Amber there is absolutely nothing anywhere she fears.  Some of her immediate goals are to destroy all the demon and devil lords as well as the Splugorth race.
