Michael Stonewall comes from Balder's Gate and the armorer family Stonewall. He proudly wears armor that he himself made and, while they are not the most extravagant or beautiful work of art, they are functional and protective. How armor should be. He has a way to go until he becomes a master, but he is on his way.

Growing up Michael lived with his parent, two younger siblings, and his mother's mother. Michael would help his parents in the shop using the anvil or forge. His mother, Rita, would tend the forge with him, while Matthew, his father, worked the storefront. Elizabeth & Canderus, his sister and brother, spent their days with Artimus, the local scholar & wizard. They learned from him, while Michael continued the smithing trade and his training with the militia.

When his brother went missing, and the initial searches brought up few clues, Michael took up his armor and warhammer, taking it upon himself to go search. The only clue he had was when Artimus divined that dark magic had been used and the rough direction they went. Michael has found a crypt of, most likely, a necromancer, but the trail was lost. He fears that hope may be lost, but continues to search for some new clues on his travels.

Michael is six feet tall and looks to be in good health. While not the most muscular individual, he can hold his own in any brawl. His main focus though is fighting with his hammer and shield. If asked his weapon of choice, he will say his shield as he has been learning to make it as useful as any weapon.

Currently he is wearing banded mail armor and wielding a steel heavy shield with a warhammer. Both the armor and shield bear his symbol, a shield with a heart, on them.
