Lhyra Greatfang could never be mistaken for a human. She is too large, too oddly-shaped, and far too much a Gnoll for that to happen. At her full height, the bristly hair atop her head reaches eight feet and she weighs about three hundred and a baker's dozen pounds - most of which is pure muscle. She travels clad in plate armor, emblazoned with the symbol of Shaera and carries a shield and flail. For the few years since joining the church, Lhyra has traveled on foot - awaiting the day when she might earn the privilege of a divine companion to aid in her travels.

Lhyra's fur appears to be yellowish-gray on which an irregular pattern of roundish spots is superimposed on her back and hindquarters. The spots are of variable distinction and appear deep brown or almost blackish. They spots vary in size, but most are about an inch in diameter. A less distinct spot pattern is present on her legs and belly but not on her throat and chest.

A set of five, pale and barely distinct bands replace the spots on the back and sides of her neck. A broad, medial band is present on the back of the neck, and is lengthened into a forward facing crest. The crest is mostly reddish-brown in color. The crown and upper part of the face is brownish, save for a white band above both eyes, though the front of the eyes, the area around the rhinarium, the lips and the back portion of the chin are all blackish. The limbs are spotted, though her hands and feet are nearly black.
