History/Background
Alexis grew up with her parents and two younger brothers in Indianapolis Indiana, living a pretty normal life.  Her father had been a wartime photographer, working on the northern side but photographing both sides. He produced graphic photographs of the war, showing the horrors of it.  It disgusted Alexis and intrigued her. She loved that the horror of he war was captured, hoping it would stop future one. Her father took all of the children and taught them the art since they were small and how to live in the wilderness to capture its beauty. Her mother was from Sweden.

When she got older, she worked doing photography and working for a local paper. After working for a few years  at the paper, she grew bored as she saw photographs of the west come east. She decided it was time for her to head out west but to where? She found out her father had an old friend who knew a paper in a western town called El Paso.  She got some money together and purchased the equipment she needed and got a stock of supplies and headed west.

She moved lock stock and barrel out west, finding an old house to fix up and set up a studio for portraits and she works for the local newspaper. She helps with the writing and does any photographs that are needed.

She set up her shop and the only other one that lives there is Blackie, a large back cat that eats mice.
