Narya

The Historian was not what one might expect of a lorekeeper. It was easy to mistake her for a junior elven scribe, with hair falling in a light braid of golden-brown; muted, grey eyes; and a light scattering of freckles around a slim nose. She often wore a black frock, which could either be plain or, as its magic stirred, suddenly embroidered in silver and turquoise with the restless events of the ages; now and then, a dragon might uncoil ponderously and wage war on a town, or the sun might make way for a night of faint constellations.

She was known to be a book illustrator of notable skill and had painted murals on the library walls to record deeds of the Crucible or other important events; she knew many songs and stories of the land; she had an infamous weakness for strawberries, which she cultivated in the inner courtyard gardens of the library; yet, of all her treasures, her most prized were counted in books and scrolls, and any provocation would quickly darken her countenance...

A keeper of knowledge, she was also the secret spymaster of the Crucible...
