Shedim Kun was found by Adoward, Nitis and Samuel when they were investigating the source of a strange roar that had been heard around the same time that a citizen of Freehold was murdered. The source and the murder seem to have been unrelated and the source was Shedim's mother. She was killed shortly before they found her, killed by what seemed to have been some kind of burns. It was likely that they were electrical burns given the flashes and thunder that the trio had previously heard. Adoward rescued the cub and it took a while to learn it's needs, but it began to flourish eventually.
