Lyrum is a precocious child who adores both his parents. He is very curious in nature, and his growing grip on cogent language makes his questions all the more insistent. Old enough to walk on his own, he still holds his mother's hand when they are together and prefers to evaluate strangers silently and from a distance before choosing whether or not to allow their engaging him.
