Archdeacon Lucius is tall, and of medium build, with hair going grey at the temples and a stern look, although his eyes occassionally seem to have a glint of amusement in them. Always immaculately dressed, his shoes polished and trousers pressed, he prefers a suit to the more traditional cassock, the only concession a dog collar and small silver crucifix. He has a reassuring and yet commanding air about him.
