Gilrak Kilring hails from the Mountainous Region of Turgad - not far South of the Capitol City of Khazadmorin.  Standing a stout 4'6" tall, Gilrak projects a youthful - and sarcastic - gaze from the recesses of his dark dwarvish eyes.  In place of a full mane of hair oftentimes seen with Dwarves of Southern Paldor, Gilrak prefers to sport a narrow, braided lock of black hair running the length of his scalp.  As is tradition w/the clans of Khazadmorin, Gilark also wears a beard.  The hair originating below his lower lip simply picks up where the braids on his scalp left off.  It's a match of tightly braided black hair - in the shape of a mammoth's tusk - arching down and away from his chin a good hand's length.  The end of his beard is bound together tightly & capped in a pointed platinum tip.  Woven into both his hair and beard, are a pair of  silk strands, blood red, running the length of his locks.

Gilrak was recruited at a relatively young age - to join the ranks of an organization of volunteers - who performed as Scouts for the Dwarven Empire.  This function has - for Gilrak - primarily consisted of patrolling the hilly & mountainous regions outside of Khazadmorin - in search of any spies or would be infiltrators from their neighboring (and often overly ambitious) population of Humans.

Growing weary of overnight patrols with only the mountainous wildlife to contend with, Gilrak has decided to seek greater adventures outside of the insular Mountainous Region of Turgad...
