Albert Jones was an abandoned child in a state run home for orphans when he thought he got a big break. A scientist offered a handful of boys an chance to come be students at his school where they would be well cared for and trained in the sciences. It was too good to be true, though, and the scientist was a twisted genius who used the boys as test subjects.

Albert's powers allowed him to escape. He eventually joined up with a team of super heroes, going from young side-kick to mainstay of the team before his wife was killed in a freak accident during a battle. He blamed his team for her death and turned against them.

He is a small man, not much over five feet tall and thin. The man wears what looks like a rather worn super suit. The body suit is dark blue with bright yellow stripes and a yellow double K on the chest.

He is one of the few pre-Regulator supers to survive the purge. He was trapped in a pocket dimension at the time of the Regulator's visit.
