Brief History: Argis was raised to be Lord Holder from the cradle. He was the eldest son of the former Lord Holder, Bregar and his Lady Wife, Gisella. Bregar was a decent Lord Holder but did not pay enough attention to his son's developing ideas. So Argis became arrogant and entitled. A romance with a greenrider from Southern Weyr ended with the greenrider refusing to become Southern Hold's Watchrider so that she and Argis could be close to each other. She was still whole and hale and wanted to keep flying Thread. He wanted her at his beck and call. The relationship's rocky ending caused Argis's bigoted embitterment towards all Dragonriders.
