Argella is a twin. Her brother is Lord Argis' sixth son. As the only daughter, she has been protected and coddle throughout her life. At times it has brought her to the screaming point. Her training has made her very much a lady, though, so she only grits her teeth and pounds the pillows in her bedroom.

More than anything, she wishes she had the courage to leave Southern as her brother, Atamar did. Unlike him, however, she has no marketable skills. All she can hope for is that the husband chosen for her is at least kind.
