Alexander or Iskander, is a wealthy Anglo Egyptian. Met the group in London to promote his best friend Ahmed Hassenien's book "The Lost Oasis".

News paper articles covering his visit mention that Alexander has had a career working for the Sudan Political service, that he fought in the Somaliland Campaign of WWI and is now an expedition facilitator based in Cairo. He competed at the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics in the foil and Épée competitions.

He's well mannered, speaks educated English and fluent Arabic.
