Francine Marlin

"Guns are the future" a motto emblazon on the cart holding a young maiden. she is a dark haired girl with her hair rolled up into a bun. she a very plain girl in blacksmith clothes dirty from grease. no real outstanding feature other than thick arms forged from hours of work on the forge.

She sits on the back of the cart tinkering on a long musket. she checks the sight makes sure the trigger mechanism is work properly. She looks up from her work stands up to greet you showing a 5'6" figure and small bosom. she shows off the musket. it highly polished gun with nice lacquer finish and in laids in the wood work and has plates with inscriptions "Marlin" and "Siegfried".

"Marlin's guns will be what brought Brevoy's Stolen lands back and I shall prove it"

History: from Iserlohn

Francine. The third child of the Marlin Family. Her father Marlin is gunsmith formerly a messenger. He Became a gunsmith while visiting the dwarven kingdoms. He became enthralled by the the power of the gun. So he packed his family to the dwarven kingdom and spent most of his money to get apprenticeship. Once he became a master, he decided to move to Southern Brevoy thinking the hunters there would greatly appreciate the advantages the gun would give. Sadly it was not to be the hunter stuck to tradition and found the guns reload time too long. It was so bad that her brothers had to take other jobs just so the family could stay afloat. Francine's mother was of middle class birth. She was raised a house wife and was very traditional in her upbringing.

For Francine, The farthest back she can remember is her travels with her dad to neighboring villages. she was the demonstrator of the gun being at the young age of 7. she would shoot and hunt with the gun to show that arm strength was not required. It was so simple that young girl could use the weapon. a feat a bow man could not achieve. She would be constantly placed in contests with bow men. For her age would place well but against adult she fared far worse. They only found buyers in the cripple, the old, or women. She was a slight tomboy in her youth spending time on the forge and training on her gun. She had little time for girly things. her mom disapproved with her ungirly behavior and try very hard to teach her the basics of being a proper women. Days in the house would be her father and she would go build or sell guns while the brothers worked. Then at night Francine would learn from her mother while the brothers worked on the forge.

As the years past the shop had not gain much notoriety. On day, a Gun user improperly loaded a gun and it back fired send shrapnel out and severely injuring himself. This lead to stories and the shop suffered for the longest time. One day when Francine was 17, her dad fell sick and would died weeks later. It would be hard on the family. The brothers would have to continue working other jobs. Francine mother took lead of the family. She decided that Francine should focus in marrying instead of the shop. Attempts to marry were not going well as the Marlin name wasn't well met. Arranged marriage attempts never panned out. Francine's plain features, calloused hands, bulging arms never, and out spoken personality never got to attention of any of the upper class men. So she would continue her business as gun sales woman. Now 18, Francine received a announcement about an expedition to the stolen lands to reclaim them. Francine remembered that her dad used to tell stories that the Marlin's were nobility that used to rule some of the land. It is also a place for glory and renown. She told her mother and brothers to take care of the shop as she would make Marlin name known and their guns the standard. She bid them farewell taking the gun her father built for her and her business cart to the stolen lands.
