Sun Snake is a Kai Lord doggedly loyal to the order. Tall and wiry, he has dirty yellow hair usually pulled back tightly, highlighting his face. Thin steel blue eyes look out above a frowning face when out of combat, in reaction to the eccentricities and vices of others. They only relax in to a neutral stare when the man is focused on battle or danger. Sun Snake has a scar on his right hand, received when killing an acid-filld Cener in a village on the Maakengorge. He has also gained a scar on the right side of his head from a recent rescue to save Vyctar's men from capture. He has a criss cross of two self inflicted scars on his left palm, from oaths he has sworn to himself during his mission.

He is not the fastest in thought nor opinion, his mental faculties as unbending as his resolve. He usually seeks to curb his impulses, trying to understand mentally what is occurring and make reasoned decisions. However, his Kai-graced speed and tenaciousness make him a swift warrior. And his abilities to disappear when necessary make the man a ghost when he wishes to be.

During the Maakengorge missions, revelations and events left him with an unnaturally emotionally detached air that finally led to an outpouring of grief at Lone Wolf's death. He has been more tolerant and yet more melancholy since. A state that will not be helped from being the one to place Rain Feather in the situation that resulted in her death. He also appears to be unusually stoic in the face of the news regarding Master Blue Snake's death.

He has no particular love of the outdoors even though he has a feel for it, preferring the peace of the monastic order, or the simplicity of aiding others and providing an example in population centres. Sun Snake appears to have an exception ability with Divination, able to intuit far more than normal with regards both the people around and even the nature of his surroundings. His ability to blend in to his surroundings has also grown.

Sun Snake wears the traditional green cloak and white tunic of the Kai Order, although the stitching and trim of his uniform is almost always blue. He has always reluctantly carried an un-named Jewelled Sword that he has claimed belongs to the order rather than himself. However, this recently changed as he gave the blade a name - Patience. And has wielded the blade as if his own.
