Welcome to [Lone Wolf] Rebirth of the Kai

06:47, 28th April 2024 (GMT+0)

Sun Fox

The higher ranked member of the third batch, and usually reputed the most skilled member of that group, she's a real prodigy; so much so, in fact, that she was noticed by Lone Wolf and made into his personal disciple, wich only made her progress faster. It's know that she has a deep admiration for the Grand Master, and many suspect that she'll be hit most harshly by his death. However, she's a very positive, energetic and hot-blooded person, so there's also many people who believe she'll be taking this tradegy in stride, making her life a monument to Lone Wolf's mission of bringing peace to the world.

She's a scarily competent fighter, certainly the best of her generation and, according to some, even better than most of the higher ranking and older Kai. Her swordsmanship is so good that Lone Wolf even allowed her to train with the Sommerswerd once; a concession unheard of, and wich made many envious of her.

One of the defining traits of her combat style is the ability to effectively mix the Battle Magic and Nexus disciplines to garner a complete control of the battlefield, to the point that many consider her skill in this field genial. She's an idol and inspiration for many of the younger Kai, and is especially admired by the girls, who see her as a role model.

Sun Fox was on a mission training a group of five Kai Journeymen - Steel Butterfly, Winter Snake, Black Bull, Green Shadow and Moon Sparrow - but, when she was notified of Lone Wolf's disappearance, she led them into the Maakengorge, on a mission to retrieve the Order's leader - or at least his physical remains.

Apparently, during this mission, the girl discovered - by "interrogating" an Acolyte of Vashna - crucial information on the Grand Master's whereabouts; however, when sending the journeymen back to look for reinforcements, the group was reportedly attacked by a group of Gourgaz led by a Drakkar, which killed all of the journeymen as well as forcing Sun Fox to retreat.

Sun Fox seems to feel guilty about these happenings - something she's expressed by worrying about the condition of her friend, Rain - but despite this, she's shown that she's determined to carry out the mission, and ready to do anything to bring back Lone Wolf, one way or the other.

As was later revealed, Sun Fox's guilt was well-justified; there was no Drakkar, as the Gourgaz, one of Haxadrom's and Valador's creations, had been under her command all along, and the death of her team was actually brought about by her own hands, as she offered them as sacrifice to Valador in exchange for him to complete the spell that would, in theory, allow Lone Wolf's resurrection.

There is doubt as to how much involved and how much she knew of the duo's complex plans - it seems that the only thing she cared about in helping them was what she would get out of it, not what they were aiming for - but even so, it is clear that she feels confused and perhaps repentant about her actions, and is now trying to find her way back onto the right path.
