Willmar is an average-looking middle-aged human male with small, fatherly eyes and a thin, sorrowful grimace.  In manner he is usually calm, though under stress his temper can flare.  Not exceptionally large nor tall, he is nonetheless an occasionally imposing figure when staring sternly from behind his full, bushy beard.  He carries a standard assortment of arms and equipment, testament to his 'ready for anything' attitude and he tends to hover close to most any conversation with a personable ear.  His voice is surprisingly tenor for a man build like a big teddy bear.
