Siglinde

Siglinde would easily fade into the crowd of overly large, muscled Norscans that are the traditional interpretation of a Champion of Chaos.  Thin, more than a little scrawny and with constant bags under her pale blue eyes hinting at a chronic lack of sleep--her most noteworthy feature being her black hair, flicked with small strands of white about the bangs.  Little more than some minor apprentice at first glance without so much as a dusting from the Gods' attention, hiding beneath a tattered and weatherbeaten cloak--and of little consequence to anybody.

She likes it that way, she hasn't survived this long with her sanity largely intact despite diving face first into the kind of arcane lore that would leave even the most liberal Imperial Magister screaming for her head.  Still, one doesn't survive in a world of highly aggressive gods, daemons and monsters without being in full control of your faculties.

Or diving head first in and losing your mind, but that's never been in the cards for her.

A more observant figure would note the weight of her steps--far beyond that of a woman of her diminuitive proportions should allow for, and the ever jangling of a battleready fighter.  This image is not thrown off by the large backpack strapped to her back alongside a new looking sledge, but the red-leather bound tome chained to her side is unusual--clearly an arcane grimorie to those educated in such a fashion.

For before she was a warrior--Siglinde was a willworker beyond peer.  She still is--and retains an interest in mystical lore--no matter the source.  But beneath the cloak lies the trappings of her present profession--embraced from neck to toe in flesh-bound plate, the jaws of her opened helm ordinarily tucked beneath the her hood so as to not draw more attention--for she is bonded to a suit of Chaos Armour of peerless make, matched with a blade at her side that could stand as an enemy even to an average Daemon Weapon--but without the hate filled will inside that would seek to shuck her out of her existence.

Because Siglinde wants to survive in a world determined to break anyone who enters it, and she's not particularly fussy about little notions of "Purity" and the "Profane."  Though the world defies any sense of logic, it does follow certain rules--and she believes it is in mastering these rules that one can gain the power to survive.  If that requires her to spend long hours in the night studying from her library of arcane tomes, to work for a local warlord in exchange for the resources he can offer in her research?  Then so be it.

Besides, the next step is capturing an Imperial Magister and prying the secrets of their art out of them--she particularly desires their arcane magics that can be wielded without dipping deep into the power of Dhar, which is--in her firmly educated opinion.  A thing to be avoided by default.
