Mathilda is a short, squat and fat woman with a wide bosom and hairy arms. Her face is pudgy with a frog-like mouth and a fat nose. Her hair is done up in two long braids and she has a mole on her cheek.

She is dressed in a suit of fine-linked mail with bronze cups on her chest and a big, gilded helmet with wings.
