Basic Personality: Ria is a tough cookie from growing up in the bad side of Vegas for most of her life. She doesn’t take shit from anyone, except William and a few older wolves. She has a large respect for people with power that she had drilled into her by her mother. She only trusts wolves, since they were the only shifters she has ever known. Ria is also very secretive, she holds all her cards close to her chest.

History: Ria was born into a single mother family. Her mother was a prostitute who ended up getting pregnant by one of her clients. She tried to raise Ria the best she could, getting her what she wanted and trying to spend as much time with her as possible. While her mother worked the streets, she was babysat by their neighbor William, who she saw as a brother, later on as a father. He helped raise her when her mother couldn’t. William was a good man who cared for her like she was his own. He taught her how to read, how to ride a bike, and how to respect others.

 Her mother learned that she was HIV positive when Ria was sixteen. She then died a year later when Ria was seventeen. William adopted her to keep her out of the foster system. At eighteen, Ria got a form of influenza that was going to kill her. William offered her the bite, which she took up.

Ria had bad control for her fast half a year as a wolf. If it hadn’t been for William, hunters probably would have had her killed. He taught her control as well as the finer points of being a wolf. When William opened the bar, he hired to Ria as a bartender and waitress.
