Tevlin has coal-black skin and no hair on his head.  In fact, he generally appears human, though the black of his skin is clearly inhuman.  The tell-tale sign of his otherworldly heritage is his eyes; they glow with an orange hue, like burning embers set into his skull.  The sharp tang of brimstone and smoke lingers about him like a memory or a deftly-applied cologne and he is always warm, even hot, to the touch.  Rain steams when it hits him.

Tevlin tends to dress in loose clothing, often billowing pants tied at the ankles and sleeve-less shirts made of black silk or leather.  He frequently wears unadorned bracers on his wrists, donning tabi upon his feet.  Freedom in range of motion.  He wears simple gold hoops in both ears much of the time and can frequently be seen wearing various types of rings.  He wears a tight silver necklace around his neck.
