Taral 'Deuce' Darson has been a starfighter ace since you were in diapers.  That fact aside, he is rather humble about his skills.  A man of few words, Deuce functions as the perfect counter-balance to his commanding officer Jace Fel, in both personality and appearance.  Whereas Jace tends to stand out, Taral is every bit a common man.  Of average height and build, the only distinguishing characteristics that set the man apart are a distinct greying to his hair, and a tendency to wear a pair of sunglasses.

His callsign 'Deuce' comes from a commitment to always fly on Jace's wing.  The two have flown together since flightschool, and have no plans to change that.
