Motivation: To regain standing in House Peleps by bringing in a major crime boss or pirate captain.

Background: Meadrin was born to two Water aspects of the Peleps line, and as such, there were high expectations that he too would exalt with good breeding in his veins and great things would follow. Or at least, there were before his birth. However, the child born was a trouble maker from the beginning. Throughout his young years, he proved disobedient, disorderly, and crass, and his parents were happy to send him to the Palace of the Tamed Storm - why spend the money on a helpless case such as Meadrin.

But Meadrin did leave as a reformed student - even if he was only marginally better. The greatest skill the Palace taught was how to hold one's tongue and behave, no matter what your true goals. Perhaps his family still saw through this however or perhaps they just did not want him around, as he was an embarrassment. Just weeks after graduation, Meadrin was shipped off to the West in order to investigate piracy in the area. As his cousin said before his departure, "After all, sometimes it takes a criminal to find one. Do stay safe." Meadrin chose not the make a scene, but he made sure to remember the cousin for his return.

Since his arrival, Meadrin has established himself not only as a member of House Peleps, but also as an investigator for hire. His skill is obvious thanks to his Exaltation and to most, he seems as honorable as any other law enforcement in the city. However, his training at the Tamed Storm truly shows in his method - where he goes to any means to uncover that which he wishes to know.

Meadrin is a handsome man who's skin is dark, and yet seemingly tinted blue. Where this tone might make most appear to be sickly, it seems only to add to his appearance, matching well the similarly deep navy tone of his hair. Young and athletic in build, he seems rugged (especially should one meet him normally), but speaking to him in any setting that requires it, he instead seems the pinnacle of grace, charm, and etiquette.
