Hair Color: Dark brown, though there are variations because of the dreadlocks.

Eye color:  Dark green. there are rings of brown surrounding the exterior of color in his eye.

Appearance:  The first thing that one would notice looking at Fin, is his hair. He has extremely lengthy dreadlocks, which fall down nearly to his backside. They are thick, though not in horrible condition like some people have had their hair before. It seems like he actually cares for the haphazard design of the tresses. Within the dreads there are various sorts of beads, ranging from glass to wood. At times he is known to man-bun the locks just to keep them out of the way, in particular when he's out in the green house. He has rather intense features. His eyes, almost sharp and seemingly judgmental with how he looks at people.  He has what people like to think of as a baby face. In fact many people who aren't used to his new position with the school assume that he's a student simply because of his features. His skin is quite dusky in hue, and he has a smattering of freckles that seem to be painted along the tops of his cheeks and along the bridge of his nose.

He is fit, which is evident often by his choice of clothing. He prefers to wear shirts with a few buttons undone just for comfort versus vanity.  He has a healthy amount of ink on his persons. At least eighteen ranging from small to medium sized. All of his tattoos are easily covered by a shirt as most of them are on his back, back of his neck, shoulders, upper arms, stomach and hips. In terms of piercings, he has his right nostril pierced twice, and his tongue pierced once. Despite him being a full blood, he is particularly fond of many modern muggle customs, which include the tattoo and piercing culture.

Personality: It would be easy to describe him as a bit of a "hippie". He is the type of person who feels connected to nature. He's generally laid back and fun to be around. His over all demeanor has made him a favorite among the students as his grading seems to be curved. He judges people fairly and is more than happy to assist when people need it. He's a carefree, and free spirited sort of being. Yes, if he can get away with it, he'd prefer to be more natural in the ways of being connected with the earth. Barefoot, or naked. That's simply how it is for him. He's comfortable with himself, and with the world. He is the type that doesn't really see pure evil, but rather likes to think that even in the muck there is clarity and light.

He absolutely adores music, and is highly skilled in guitar and has a most superb singing voice. It's not that hard to catch him kicked back, relaxing, plucking at the strings and singing a random Muggle song.

Family: He is quite estranged from his family as he went against his families wishes to get married to another Pure Blood. In doing so, he dishonored himself in their eyes. He's perfectly okay with that, because he doesn't need anyone who won't embrace him for his flaws and imperfections just as easily as what he is good at. He has one other sibling in which he hasn't seen in two years. A brother by the name of Neil who is two years younger than he.

House: He hailed from Slytherin, and yes, he is a Parselmouth, though he doesn't let on. If anything people would assume he was a Hufflepuff given his nature.

Wand: 14" Springy

Wood: Apple – Apple is a gentle, outdoorsy wood that would find favor with a student skilled in Herbology or Care of Magical Creatures. It tends to get overwhelmed easily, and is thus rarely used with powerful cores.

Unicorn hair is a more subtle wand, but it is quite compatible with Charms and Transfiguration. It is also hands-down the best core for healing, as it picks up some of the healing capabilities of unicorn blood. Unicorn hair has a reputation of picking gentler or more cerebral users, so it is common amongst Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. More laid-back Gryffindors and subtler Slytherins may find themselves with a Unicorn hair wand.




Additional Notes: When being around Finley there is always a scent of peppermint. A strong and sweet smell. The reason being? His dreadlocks. Despite their look and the ill conceived notion they are dirty, Fin is willing to educate those who are incorrectly assuming they are all nasty. If you care for your hair, your hair can be clean and dreadlocked.
