Character Name: Dinah Laurel Lance

Occupation: Florist, Judo instructor

Appearance: She has lengthy black hair that frames a pretty face with sharp angles. She has a wealth of curls that settle around her shoulders and typically falls over her right eye. When her hair is pulled back one can see the shape of her eyes are rather cat-like. She has dark chocolate eyes, and seems rather exotic, though her skin is a tad-bit pale.

She stands at 5'4" tall, 115 lbs in weight. A bit on the shorter side of the spectrum, but when she actually dons a pair of heels she stands at a stunning 5'8. Her body has the perfect fat to muscle ratio. There is not an ounce that isn't put where it should be, leaving her stomach taut, and her hips flowering out in that sensual hour-glass figure that so many women try hard to achieve. She typically dresses in accordance to her comfort levels. She is most often seen in an altered rock t-shirt of some sort, and a pair of jeans. On rare occasion when she feels like spicing it up, she'll throw on some leather pants. The rarest sight of all, is her in a dress. She has donned one occasionally for one of Bruce Wayne's fantastic parties.

Personality: At time she can be a bit sarcastic. She is  incredibly protective of those she knows needs the help- even at the risk of her own health/sanity/happiness. With her protectiveness, that flowers out to another branch, she is known, and quick to anger at insults to her friends/family.Given her history with her father, and her training she had become a rather put together tactian. She is very flirtatious when it time is right.  She can be impatient, when she wants to do, or have something done, it's best just to go ahead and do it. She can not stand procrastination. She is the typical woman, and that shows with everything that she does.

Deep down she has a pure love for the artistic side of her life. Flowers. She can name off all sorts, and offer suggestions for a gift, to simple decoration. She is truly apt at the creation process of visual pleasure in the form of flora.

History: She grew up in a special household in the depths of Gotham City. The type that was filled with gifted individuals. Her father was detective that worked along-side of Commisioner Gordon. Her mother was equally as talented within the realm of protection. In her situation she learned that some secrets are better kept just that. Dispite the deceit that she was taught, she didn't have any sort of issues in school.

Everything seemed normal. She was the typical girl growing up. She used to be a Daddy's girl, tagging along after school on some of his cases. This would prove to be beneficial when she got older. She graduated high school. Not top of her class, but not at the bottom either. She opted to go to a local college. There she met her ex husband. Craig Windrow. She was only 18. He was a smooth talker with rushing hands, and roaming fingers. She fell for it hook line and sinker. She married him very quickly six weeks into the relationship. She was young and naive...it happens occasionally. Well the marriage only lasted for nine months. She found that he wasn't quit the man that he made himself out to be. He was a gambling addict and ended up getting funds from less than favorable people. She ended the marriage.

Her family wasn't too happy with her, having tied the knot and parted with him before death. That lead to a really nasty fight with her mother. Their relationship strained, but not broken...Dinah decided that it was time for her to move out and live life in her own way. Dinah has had several jobs. The worse one was as a bartender. She had ended up involved or witnessing a few bad fights, and that quickly removed her from the industry.

In the more recent times, she has spotted a hero named Green Arrow. This inspired her to open up her own flower shop which is named "Sherwood Florist". A little homage to the man who risks his life for the good of the people.
